Diet Advice
We stock the highest quality foods such as Hills Science Plan, Royal Canin, Burns and Propac. Diet is the single most important component of good health. The best food brands source the highest quality ingredients, free of toxins, and produced to the highest quality standards.
These scientific diets are ever evolving and now cater for neutered pets and even are breed specific. There is a huge difference in the nutritional requirements of a 7kg Westie with itchy skin and a 30kg Setter with inflammatory bowel disease!
Curbing obesity levels in pets is similar to the human problem. At LVH, we have set up weight clubs, where pet owners can meet with us to discuss diets requirements, exercise plans and weight checks.
Pet Passports
If you are bringing your pet on holidays, we can help you with passport application. This involves your pet getting a general health check, microchip and Rabies vaccination.
Additional vaccinations and/or blood tests may be needed depending on your destination. Contact us for further details on how and when to apply for a passport if you intend on traveling.
Grooming Services
We have a fully qualified groomer with vast experience and a Veterinary Nursing background. Regardless of the breed of dog or the type of style requested, we will strive to meet your every need.
During the groom, a full health check is undertaken by a veterinarian - This includes an examination of the anal glands, nails, ears, teeth and coat. This can all be done if your pet is boarding with us, having him/her all spruced up for the home-coming.
